Interview – Brasstronaut

Brasstronaut bring the trick to play  catchy indie rock scores, which also dippt deep into the prog post-rock.

No wonder that Sigur Rós have found favor in this band: The Icelanders saw Brasstronaut play random time with them in an art museum in Reykjavík.

The music from Brasstronaut, a formation by Edo Van Breemen (vocals / keyboards) and Bryan Davies (trumpet), is not quite as caught up as the spherically-Sigur Rós, but it paints a similar penchant for quirky, playful, music out of the sprawl of confirmety.
