Interview – The Notwist

They are probably the essence of a German indie band: The Notwist: Founded in 1989 in the Bavarian town of Weilheim Markus Acher (guitar, vocals), Michael Acher (bass) and Martin Gretschmann (electronics),  they have indeed gone through several changes of style, but one thing in their music always remained – the melancholy.
