Interview – Amen Dunes

Damon McMahon, the mastermind behind Amen Dunes, knows – it may be impossible simply been fortunate coincidence how he has named his new work. “Love” is honest without being rugged, it scratches here and there and is still soft. Although the pieces are all spread some demo feeling that they could hardly be better adapted to the Lo-Fi proportion as important as the so distant as close to the echo, the Sixties vibe and the freak–folk borrowing. “Love” is like love: once the heart beats so fast, sometimes it is entirely off.
