Interview – Japandroids
Who needs a lead singer? Brian King and David Prowse think what should be a trio remains the stormy duo and nobody cares who is the lead singer. A guitar, a drum set, two singers. More need not to explained to listen to the Japandroids. Their lo-fi garage sound developed after they have meet each other in 2006 at the University of Victoria. King studied science, Prouse attended lectures in anthropology. The duo from Vancouver indulges a common passion for music soon after with two EPs on their own. In 2009, they released their first album called “Post–Nothing”, the rest is history. Enjoy
