POP Montreal

POP Montreal

POP Montreal is a not for profit grassroots organization, working to provide opportunities for independent musicians, promoters, fans, and creative minds of all types, to participate in a world class international event. POP is a curated festival for emerging artists and industry legends, programmed for an engaged audience in unique venues. POP Montreal depends upon traditional and alternative environments alike in which to promote compelling and eclectic musical and artistic events. These include large and intimate venues, old congregation halls or church basements and all manner of intimate galleries and populist museums in between.

POP Montreal’s philosophy is that arts and culture should be accessible to people from every socio-economic background and works hard year after year to present an even greater number of free festival activities, including its opening party, concerts, barbecues, the POP Hostel, the Record Fair, the Puces POP craft fair, Fashion POP, Art POP events, Symposium talks and workshops, as well as some Film POP presentations.
